I don't know if this fits your notion of measuring illusions of
significant others with the rep grid, but I am in process of
analyzing repgrids and marital satisfaction ratings to see if
self/other differences between self and spouse and between self and
members of family of origin have anything to do with marital
satisfaction. The study is an attempt to use constructivist
methodology to test Bowen's theory of differentiation.
