I have missed much of the discussion on DSM-IV that was prompted by Jim's
posting of his APA presentation with Sarbin (which I had the honor to attend).
Can anyone fill me in on some of the responses that networkers had to the
paper? My paper with Franz Epting ("Personal Construct Theory and the
Argument Against Mental Illness" in the Dec. 1993 issues of the Int. J. of
PCT [now J. of Constructivist Psych] sums up my feelings re: DSM and construct-
-ivism. How do others reconcile what I construe as highly incompatible ways
to comprehend client behavior?
