Actually, most of Beck's work is taken from Albert Ellis' Rational
Emotive Therapy. PCP is just so fundemental and basic that almost any
theoretical approach will have something in common with it. Human beings
make up the theory and it necessarily reflects how they think. Since PCP
describes how people think, the commonality is unavoidable.
