(Fwd) polarity and the Golden Section

This is one that I'm sure Jack or one of his research colleagues will
be happy to pick up.

I'll take on compiling things to FAQ files but send
questions/answers/suggested items for inclusion to the list so that
the final result is the product of the list!

Dear Chris,
This may not exactly be an FAQ but do you know if any work
was
done to follow upthe claims that construct scales are often
assymmetrically bipolar, and in particular that they tend towards a
Golden Sectiobn proportion ? Adams-Webber wrote about it in the book
PCT: Concepts and Applications, Ch. 7 (1977).
