Dear Kevin,

I too am a PhD candidate in counselling psychology and like you interested
in the contributions of post-modernism to practice. In that introduction
I think I have hinted at my 'essay question.' I am afraid (not about my
judgement, but about responses to it) that my view of post-modernism is one
of seeing it as a technique rather than a movement. I say this as it has
been (as a prompt for thought and practice) much more useful to me
when I have taken responsibility for identifying its implications for my
practice in my context.

So anyway my question; With the use of examples identify and discuss what
you see to be the major contributions of post-modernism to the practice of
counselling psychology.

yours
