An obscure query

My, but it's quiet in here: everyone's on vacation I expect.

As and when you see this, would you be kind enough to help me with a
contact name, if you can?

I'm looking for anyone known to you who's based in any of the African
countries and is doing interesting work in the Human Resource Development
field. Someone who might be willing to act as a regional editor for a new
journal with which I'm involved, Human Resource Development
International. The focus of the journal is on scholarly accounts of
developments in practice and the research associated with it (it's not a
pure research journal) in this field. Responsibilities would involve
promoting the journal, eliciting contributions and alerting us to
innovations in practice.

The sort of person who could do this well would need to be alert to the
"theory-from-practice" issue to which we pcpers seem to be sensitive, and
that's why I'm approaching you.

Please reply to my home e-mail rather than to the mailing list; i.e., to
anima@devi.demon.co.uk

Have a good hols!

Kind regards,

Devi Jankowicz
