The National Commission for Mental Health Counseling is inviting researchers to submit original research papers to be considered as part of the program for the Outcomes Research in Psychotherapy Conference to be held October 20 and 21, 1995 at Safety Harbor Spa, Safety Harbor Florida. Papers should focus on one of the two themes of the conference;
(1) Implications of outcome research for psychotherapy; and
(2) Integrating outcomes research into clinical practice.
Papers will be presented in a unique format involving formal presentations (organized around paper topics) followed by moderated discussions. All accepted papers will be included in a published monograph of the conference proceedings.
Interested researchers should submit (1) a letter of interest outlining the research and identifying the conference theme to which their paper applies, (2) a conference program abstract (no more than 100 words), and (3) a copy of the research paper (or paper outline). Conference participants will be required to submit a draft copy of their research papers prior to the conference. The review of papers will begin July 15, 1995. Early submission is encouraged.
