The Theme of this year's conference will provide an opportunity to consider how the changing context of work, technology, politics and the environment confronts us with ever increasing complexity and difference. These changes require constant adaptation and adjustment, as well as a commitment to continual learning.
We are confronted by different cultures, languages, systems and values as well as with different theoretical perspectives to guide our understanding. The Symposium will provide a space to explore and reflect on how psychoanalytic thinking can further our understanding and ability to work with these complexities and differences.
ISPSO explores the application of psychoanalytic theory to the study of organizations. This includes, but is not limited to:
The Symposium, conducted annually, is a unique forum for open debate, critical appraisal, and mutual support among professionals with knowledge of both psychoanalysis and organizations. The Symposium consists of major presentations by leading psychoanalytic thinkers and practitioners with time allotted for both structured and interactive discussion. The symposium is designed to be intellectually stimulating and highly participative.
Please Join Us at the Symposium. Attendees include Clinicians, Researchers, Academics, Organizational Consultants, other Practitioners and Students. The ISPSO Symposium provides an opportunity for reflection, thought and excellence among colleagues from a variety of cultures. It is preceded by the ISPSO Professional Development Workshops, June 24 & 25. Both Symposium and Workshops will be held at the Korman Suites.
