Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention will be starting an ongoing series under the editorship of Dr, Melanie Katzman focusing on the contributions made by professionals outside the mental health fields to the understanding of body image disturbance, appearance controls, self-starvation and eating disorders. Contributions by anthropologists, sociologists, philosophers, historians, economists etc. are encouraged.

% DISCOUNTED JOURNALS %

The ECED have negotiated that all members can have reduced subscriptions on the two Wiley Journals (The International Journal of Eating Disorders and the European Eating Disorders Review) and on the Eating Disorders Review published by Gurze books in the USA. Unfortunately Bruner Mazel the publisher of Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention will not be continuing their ECED discount rate next year.

EATING DISORDERS REVIEW

Gurze Books are offering ECED members a 20% discount on the next volume (1996) of Eating Disorders Review. This is a newsletter type review edited by Joel Yager M.D. which includes summaries of recent research reports. The individual rate for ECED members will be $76.80 instead of the regular price of $96.00. Subscriptions for this newsletter can be placed with credit card or by money order. Wiley are offering a $50 discount on the personal subscription rate for ECED members This is almost a 30% reduction making the individual rate $125. To qualify for the discount your order must be sent to Tracy Clayton at the Wiley address below.

EUROPEAN EATING DISORDERS REVIEW
