I have used Repertory Test and associated technology in vocational
guidance and have found it to be particularly powerful methodology.
I currently have a case study "in press" that describes a VG
intervention with a client being made redundant. Also, I have
written a little in-house monograph on PCP for my colleagues here at the
Waikato Polytechnic. In it I describe PCP and Repertory Test/Grid
method and associated techniques... and .... provide the readers with
exercises based on Vocational exploration, to enable them to gain
familiarity with the techniques (as I use them) and also to
demonstarte its power.

If you send me a postal address, I'll send copies of these to you.

In answer to one of your questions about the superiority of PCP
techniques for this purpose. My clients tell me that more
traditional VG counselling tells them what they should do. PCP style
counselling tells them why they should do it; how it fits into their
bigger picture (or master story). It also tells them what to do
about it too. I have had a number of clients who have sat and stared
at the finished product of the counselling mumbling to themselves
"what a powerful tool... what a powerful tool..."

This evidence is anecdotal and I haven't done enough counselling to
write anything up - but I hope this helps you.
