core and superordinate constructs

Are you familiar with Eleanor Rosch's work on categorization ?
I wonder if the idea of a core construct which is yet not maximally
superordinate could be usefully interpreted as indicating a Basic Level of
construing, in a parallel way to Rosch's findings on natural categories ?
