Now back to normal channels but another very welcome welcome (if
you see what I mean). Macolm Cross has joined me as co-administrator
of the list and is covering the list for "bouncing feedback" while
I'm away. We've also got a cross agreement with Geraldine Shipton,
(owner of the psych-couns mailbase list) and with Ann Lewins (owner
of the qual-software list) to join each others' lists in leave
periods to maximise the number of people with the authorisation to
deal with any of these bounce disasters should they occur (I've only
ever seen one on a mailbase list but it put some 300 messages in my
mailbox in less than a day before it was caught and presumably did
the same to all other members of the list --- hence something we're
all scared of allowing to go unnoticed. I guess they're a bit like
one form of obsessional/compulsive behaviour!)
