Yes. Sociogrids is a constituent of REPGRID2 (which also elicits grids
interactively and does cluster and principal components analysis). This
is a package written by Mildred Shaw and Brian Gaines: you need to write
to Mildred at the Dept. of Computer Science, University of Calgary, 2500
University Drive NW, Calgary, Alberta T2N 1N4 Canada and have US$500
ready in payment. Worth every cent, believe me! (NB This software works
only on the Macintosh, unless Mildred has done a PC version by now. Ask
her!)

I've done principal components analysis using SPSS and, if I remember
rightly, you have to draw in the PC axes from the coordinates provided,
whereas REPGRID2 does that for you. But I've never tried doing a
Sociogrids computation on SPSS.
