Dear Lindsay,

To take up the tread, just a few comments. There seems to be an=20
implicit assumption in your construing of the construction processes of=20
young people that they survey the same elements as you prior to expressing=
=20
their construing in action (safe or unsafe sex) and that these elements=20
have to some extent inherant meaning (unsafe =3D illness). =20

The notions or relevance of "safe" "unsafe" "condom" etc... are yours. =20

I think the place to start is by establishing that young people entertain=
=20
the notion of "risk" and that this construct has some meaning for them,=20
that it is within the range of convenience of constructs related to=20
health/illness etc...

What do you reckon?
