COMMUNICATION AND CONSTRUCTIVISM: BREAKING THE ORTHODOXIES IN PCP

The 1996 Australasian Personal Construct Psychology Conference will be held
at the University of Canberra on July 1-3,1996, Monday to Wednesday. The
Conference is being jointly organised by the Faculty of Communication,
University of Canberra, and the Department of Psychology, University of
Wollongong.

The Conference theme fits neatly with recent developments in PCP and the
rise of new networked services, such as the Internet and interactive
multimedia, as new media.

The suggested sessions for the conference include:

* Shared Meaning

* The Role of the Observer - philosophy of science & PCP

* Narrative

* New Communications

Please send abstracts of approximately 150 words to Mark Balnaves at the
address listed below. Feel free to send suggestions for sessions or
workshops.

July is skiing season in Canberra and the Snowy Mountains, so bring your
woollies.
