As a student of James Mancuso, I remember him ridiculing the insanity
defense. For those interested, todays Wall Street Journal (29 Feb) has an
excellent review of its current status. I particularly enjoyed reading about
the Massachusetts psychiatrist who tried to convince a jury that a "psychotic
delusion was the reason he massively overbilled insurance plans." The jury
didn't buy it.
