PCP Interest Groups

Greetings all,

I am some colleagues are about to start a PCP interest group at City
University - where I currently spend a day or so teaching and the rest of
the time working on my dissertation. Before coming to City I was lucky
enough to do my undergraduate work at the University of Wollongong in
Australia. That department has a strong PCP staff group. One of the most
rewarding experiences of my time at Wollongong was participation in the
PCP Interest Group, which was a group that met weekly to discuss,
amongst other things, work in progress, recent developments in theory and
practice, and provide conference feedback.

Anyway as a consequence I am pretty fond of this framework for learning
and sharing interest and ideas.

My question(s) to the PCP mailbase participants are about such groups.

Do the various associations (EPCA etc..) have a register of such groups?

Would such a register be useful? (for me it would be good to help
students leaving the university [many of whom are overseas students] find
other constructivists closer to home.

Such information might influence a study tour itinerary and it might be
possible to help foster international exchanges between major
conferences?

Anyway all this may be unnecessary and working perfectly well informally,
I'm just curious and would value others opinions.
