The MHF rationale paper and the survey paper are approaching the
stage at which they require a 'scan' by people within a time frame
and then sent off. The 'survey' write-up by John will be coming your
way probably at the beginning of next week and the task is to
identify the 3 most salient features to 'pull out' for the Health
Service Journal submission. In parallel will come the final draft of
the 'rationale' paper which, after a discussion with John, I'm
proposing to submit to Jounal of Mental Health. Reason for this is
that (a) JMH is more policy oriented than Brit J Clinical Psychology,
and (b) it appears to have some link with the MHF. This then leaves
us with a clear run at both British Journals of Clinical Psychology
and Psychiatry with the more empirical papers. There's no guarantee
that they'll like it but I think it makes good sense to try.
I'm wanting to get both these off by Friday 19 September so please
can you all set aside some time over the next 2 weeks to ring fence
for this please (sorry Graeme!). I'll get them in the post early next
week.
Many thanks
Michael
