That first little detour on the map was to stock up with food and, above all, fluid, for the day and I think I stopped for lunch somewhere with a simple beach restaurant but I can't swear to that or that it was this day. Passing others coming the other way was hairy at times and I came to see that those with fat tyres were much safer than I was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Curiously, I have a fairly clear recognition memory of stopping in this clearing.
