Back on the 31st of October 2018 I finally realised that I could make timelapse videos of the daylight hours of the view from my desk where I’m living over half the year, up in the French Alps.  Since then most of the days that I’ve been up here I’ve recorded a speeded up video of the day.  Here’s the recording gear (if you click on the image you should get a larger version).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interval between frames has varied a bit but currently (28.viii.19) it’s 8 seconds and the videos replay at 30 fps so things are speeded up 240x. I see that I said “200x” in 2018. I have tried to annotate a frame grab (again, click on the image to get a larger version).<\/p>\n\n\n
