{"id":3920,"date":"2024-02-24T12:03:41","date_gmt":"2024-02-24T11:03:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.psyctc.org\/psyctc\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=3920"},"modified":"2024-02-24T12:03:41","modified_gmt":"2024-02-24T11:03:41","password":"","slug":"hybrid-measures","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/www.psyctc.org\/psyctc\/glossary2\/hybrid-measures\/","title":{"rendered":"Hybrid measures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I guess this could mean all sorts of things but the only way I encounter it is for measures like PSYCHLOPS which combine a nomothetic rating, in PSYCHLOPS it is &#8220;How have you felt in yourself this last week?&#8221; and PSYCHLOPS combines this with three client\/user generated idiographic ratings which have a stem, e.g. &#8220;Choose the problem that troubles you most&#8221; to which the participant fills in a problem of their chosing, in their own words, and then rates it on &#8220;How much has it affected you over the last week?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Details<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Pretty much the only measure I come across under the term &#8220;hybrid measure&#8221; is PSYCHLOPS but SCORE measures are also hybrid measures.  The SCORE-15 starts with 15 nomothetic questions about the participant&#8217;s family, such as:<br>&#8220;People in my family interfere too much in each other\u2019s lives&#8221;<br>However, it also has a client generated item:<br>&#8220;What is the problem\/challenge that brought you to therapy?<br>The main problem is &#8230;&#8221;<br>which is rated on:<br>&#8220;How severe is it?
