In principle pantheoretical, multimodality, multiprofessional and international, and for clinicians with research sympathies as well as researchers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s where, well, at the annual meeting of the UK chapter in about 1986, I found my initial collegiate home.  I guess partly because those aspirations chimed with mine but also because the conference was both good quality <em>and <\/em>fun.  The fun issues is still  marked by the annual international meeting being named a &#8220;meeting&#8221; not a &#8220;conference&#8221; but the fun &#8230;. hm, not so much these days I&#8217;d say.  However, perhaps that reflects a societal change as well as my growing old and grumpy!
