One of the first, if not the first, software packages carrying out confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) and more general linear structural relationships (hence the name). Developed in the 1970s by Karl J\u00f6reskog and Dag S\u00f6rbom who were breaking open a huge new field and psychological work was probably to become the biggest application area for the methods. It was my first introduction to these analyses.
