Changing your address at Mailbase

Mailbase uses your address

When you join a Mailbase list, Mailbase uses the email address in your message headers to identify you. If your email address changes, even a little bit, Mailbase will not recognise you. This means that you will not be able to suspend mail, leave the list. and you may not be able to send messages to the list.

My email address is about to change. What should I do?

  1. Before your address changes, you should leave the list under your old address.

  2. You should then rejoin the list under your new address.

If you can make this change yourself it will be much appreciated. Otherwise, the list owner or the Mailbase helpline will have to make the change for you, and that means more administrative work for them.

My email address has already changed - what should I do?

Contact your list owner and they will remove you from the list. You will then be able to rejoin using your new address.
