</color>Dear y'all,
Thanks Michael and Chris,
thanks for the comments re the two papers (data and review). I
would be happy to take the lead on the review paper but involve the
whole team as co-authors, and I agree that the whole special issue
might well get bogged down in politics.
We should definitely keep the data paper completely separate: the
idea was just to use a paper in press (hopefully!) to make the story
simpler. It would be good to get a draft of the data paper soon, but
we need to gather the best dat awe can as this will be th ekey
quoted paper.
Extras: I spoke to an MSc student from psychology who wants a
smallish project (the dissertation is only c20% of the marks and
she has passed the writtens). She happens to be British born
ethnic Chinese and I am suggestingshe might do a part of the
whole validation/normative data on a chinese population. I also have
a psychiatry trainee who will do a sample of severly mentally ill but
we need to co-ordinate our sampling strategy and set a
timesacale: any thoughts?
best wishes
frank
