- Llantwit Major fair, I think 1972. This was a trip down memory lane for various reasons. It might amuse both those who were alive then and those who hadn’t even equipped themselves with potential parents.
- PreColumban gold museum, San Jose, Costa Rica, 24.vi.24. Well here the date is definite! Extraordinary and deeply moving art I visited on days off after a fairly full on work time in Latin America.
- Kite day 23.vii.24, Aime2000. Another definite day and a huge amount of fun was being had with wind assistance.
- Kellburn and Ieuan’s first commissioned sculpture (6.ix.24). Yet another definite date! Back in summer, at the time of the festival, I had been crippled with trapped nerves and roots and simply couldn’t get up the valley to see the sculpture so it was an enormous pleasure to be recovered enough to get up there to see it and discuss it with him. (Ieuan Carlyle is our son.)
