ESTs (Empirically Supported Treatments)

The name suggests interventions with some evidence base, however it has come to mean therapies selected by the American Psychological Association as having evidence generally from Randomised Controlled Trials. Very similar to “NICE approved” therapies in the UK. See https://div12.org/psychological-treatments/.
