Details #

Originally described by Freire (2007), a 51 item inventory using a five point response scale was shortened to 31 items (SI-31). This has been further shortened to a 12 item version (SI-12) described in Stephen, S., & Elliott, R. (2021). The Strathclyde Inventory: Development of a Brief Instrument for Assessing Outcome in Counseling According to Rogers’ Concept of the Fully Functioning Person. Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, 1–20. https://doi.org/10.1080/07481756.2021.1955213. See also “Made to measure” by Stephen for a nice online blog introduction to the SI-12.
