Details #

Originally described by Freire (2007), a 51 item inventory using a five point response scale was shortened to 31 items (SI-31). This has been further shortened to a 12 item version (SI-12) described in Stephen, S., & Elliott, R. (2021). The Strathclyde Inventory: Development of a Brief Instrument for Assessing Outcome in Counseling According to Rogers’ Concept of the Fully Functioning Person. Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, 1–20. See also “Made to measure” by Stephen for a nice online blog introduction to the SI-12.
